Francisco Robles collects the wine tourism award “Wine Routes of Spain”.
On 22 November Bodegas Robles gathered the Award for Commitment to Society and the Environment, awarded by the Spanish Association of Wine Cities (Acevin) at III Edition of the Wine Tourism Awards “Wine Routes of Spain “, an initiative which convenes biennially and wants to recognize the work of companies and territories in the development and continuous enrichment of wine tourism in Spain. The awards ceremony was held at the Real Fábrica de Tapices (Madrid).
For being the first winery in the world to produce organic “generoso” wines, as well as to calculate the winery carbon footprint with the commitment to reduce it progressively. Also for the production of artisan food from organic wines and vinegars, and for the set of tourist activities proposed to raise awareness about the values of the organic vineyard.
The ceremony was attended by the general director of Turespaña, Marta Blanco, and the General Director of Food Industry, Fernando José Burgaz, representing the two bodies working with Acevin in the promotion of the Wine Routes of Spain: Ministry of Energy, Tourism and Digital Agenda, and the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Food and Environment.
