Millesime Bio is the celebration of organic wine production. It is an exhibition where many organic wine growers come together to display wine produced from organically grown grapes. It usually happens at the beginning of the year and only professionals are invited to taste the best qualities of organic wine produced from the vineyards all over the world..
Milesime Bio started at a very small scale in the southern region of France. The Languedoc-Roussilon (AIVB-LR) was strted in the year 1991 to uphold the spirit of organic wine growing. At that time it was not an international trade fair but then it was started to in an effort to bring together all the organic winemakers of the region and promote the products. The event now happens on a large scale with a trade lookout and a huge range of wines are displayed for the professionals to taste keeping the spirit of producing and bringing organic wine still intact.

In 2018, Prowein will see over 6,600 exhibitors from all over the world. The international trade fair for wines and spirits is already sold out today. All relevant wine-growing regions in the world are represented providing a complete overview of global wine ranges. Add to this a selection of some 400 spirits specialities.
The programme of events accompanying ProWein 2018 is also nothing short of spectacular: numerous tastings are scheduled for the ProWein Forum in Halls 10 and 13. Add to this, a host of events right at the exhibitors’ stands. The spectrum of approximately 500 events ranges from tastings with a national focus to cross-origin presentations like the Tasting Zone organised by the international wine award Mundus Vini.
Alimentaria 2018 will be the show’s biggest exhibition in recent years. The show will offer a platform for internationalisation and business to the food, drinks and hospitality industries, with new spaces, content and innovation which will give added value to the world of gastronomy. In 2018, the exhibition will take place alongside Hostelco to make the most of the synergies that exist between sectors like hospitality and gastronomy. That collaboration will attract more than 4,500 exhibiting businesses, 27% of them coming from outside of Spain.
Salón de Gourmets is an annual fair aimed at professionals, hosted in Madrid for the last 28 years. Annual event Salón de Gourmets is a mecca for gastronomy professionals from both Spain and beyond, in part due to the sheer breadth of its offering – the equivalent of eight soccer fields packed with 1,630 exhibitors and 40,000 products – and in part due to the quality of the goods on display.
